Erbafoglio (GrassLeaf) is a historic review of poetic culture, published in paper form from 1998 to 2002, and subsequently from 2021 onwards.
Issue number 28 (March 2024) is entirely dedicated to the HomeLess Movies archive.
ERBAFOGLIO n.28. Evento: “HomeLess”
The idea behind issue 28 wads born of a collaboration with the association L’Ambulante and its HomeLess Movies project, which supports the collection and rescue of abandoned audiovisual material – ‘orphans’ without a family. It is a project which arose from the desire to save from oblivion those films which have been forgotten in basements and attics, abandoned by their maker’s descendents and loved ones, who do not value their historical, social, artistic and cultural significance.
In this issue of Erbafoglio, the term “Homeless” of course is a reminder of those who live on the streets, at the margins of society, to the marginalized, the transient, the stray…
We collected contributions from writers and poets; short stories, accounts and poems which mixed the inspiration of the memories of unknown filmmakers with life without an abode, or the anarchical idea of a journey without fixed coordinates, without beginning or end.
