TRANSIZIONI is the first edition of a film festival that took place in Sassari and Cagliari between October 18th and November 21st 2017.
A series of meetings and screenings follow the idea of transition, intended as a passage between a condition and another, a change that involves the protagonists of the stories as much as the spaces, glances and positions of the authors in the movies. In this first edition, the visions talk, from multiple points of view, about international migration processes, European frontiers, the pursuit of freedom, territories and multicultural societies.
Transizioni is conceived and organized by L’Ambulante and 4CaniperStrada, with Gaetano Crivaro as Artistic Director, the patronage of the Comune di Sassari, in partnership with Società Umanitaria – Cineteca Sarda and Università di Sassari – Dipartimento di Scienze Politiche, and the contribution by Regione Autonoma della Sardegna.
